How often do I see an orthodontist while wearing Invisalign®?
With Invisalign treatment, you’ll have scheduled visits every 4 to 6 weeks for quick check-ups. These appointments are quite fast and easy, as there is no need to adjust brackets or wires.
How do I clean Invisalign aligners?
- Rinse your aligners as soon as you take them out. We recommend that you soak your aligners in the Invisalign brand crystal cleaning solution every day to help remove bacteria and keep your aligners out-of-the-package fresh.
- Use a soft-bristled brush (not your daily toothbrush) to lightly sweep away any remaining debris after soaking.
- Rinse your aligners and put them back in your mouth.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Treatment time varies depending on the severity of the misaligned teeth. Treatment time can be shorter than traditional braces, between six and 18 months.
